What is biblical counseling?

Biblical counseling is a discipleship ministry that is focused on applying the truth of God’s word to human suffering. 

Biblical counseling is for redeeming, not correcting. Rather than address external behavior or actions, we are focused on the heart. Our counselors view scripture as sufficient in all areas of life, and believe supplemental evidence and clinical modalities have their place as a means of common grace.

The goal of counseling at New Creation Family Counseling is to reorient our disordered affections through the truth of scripture. The goal of each session is your edification, the strengthening of your faith, and the glory of God.
